On February 23 cadets of the 4-th year of study (Educational and Scientific Institute of Fire and Technological Safety) O.V. Kobko (FS-45), O.S. Mylymuk (FS-42), Yu.I. Romanyuk (FS-44), T.O. Shpak (FS-42) took part in the Interuniversity Olympiad on the discipline "Organization and management of the civil protection units", which was held at the Cherkasy Institute of Fire Safety named after Chernobyl Heroes of the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine.

Yuriy Romanyuk took the second place together with Andriy Dulherov from Cherkasy Institute of Fire Safety.

Our cadets, along with Associate Professor Olga Martyn visited the Museum of Cherkasy Institute of Fire Safety and got acquainted with the historical monuments of Cherkassy and Kaniv in particular Taras Shevchenko's grave.
