Institute of Psychology and Social Security
~~Institute of Psychology and Social Security (hereinafter, Institute) is administrative, educational and scientific unit that provides humanitarian training of students and cadets of university according to programs based on new concepts of humanitarian higher education in Ukraine. Faculty of Humanities supervises scientific, research, organizational, methodological and educational work of departments and structural units of the faculty. Faculty was established to improve management and structure of the University, to improve quality of education and research activities, effective use of human resources, material and technical base, to improve quality training of educational qualifications of Bachelor, Specialist and Master in the level education system. The primary goal of the faculty is to provide conditions necessary for a person to gain higher education, the second higher education, training and retraining of specialists for units SSES of Ukraine and according to orders of other ministries, departments and organizations. The main subject of the faculty's activity is educational work in a certain area, which includes educational, upbringing, scientific, research, cultural and methodological scopes.
~~The Institute of Psychology and Social Security trains specialists:
in the following areas: 6. 020303 - "Philology. Specialization: Translation (English-Ukrainian translation)", 6. 030103 - "Practical Psychology" and 6.130102 “Social work”.
in specialty: 7. 03010301 - "Practical Psychology", 8. 03010301 - "Practical Psychology",
Form of training in the area of “Social work”, "Philology" - full-time, in speciality of "practical psychology" - full-time and part-time.
In addition to training experts in areas that are on the faculty, the teachers of the departments teach disciplines for training specialists in the following areas and specialties:
- • fire safety
- • civil defense;
- • occupational safety;
- • information security management;
- • transport technologies;
- • ecology, environmental protection and balanced nature management;
- and educational qualification levels of Master and Specialist in the following areas:
- • ecology and environmental protection;
- • administrative management of information security area;
- • organization of transportation and transport management;
- • organization and regulation of traffic;
- • project management.
~~Graduates of our Institute can be successfully employed on the following positions:
- • Practical psychologist of power structures (SSES, MIA, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Border Service, Customs, etc.);
- • Practical psychologist in educational institutions (kindergartens, schools, universities);
- • Teacher of psychology;
- • Recruitment manager;
- • Advertising manager;
- • Advising psychologist;
- • Valeopsychologist etc.;
- • Translator;
- • Translator of technical literature;
- • Editor-translator;
- • Guide-interpreter;
- • Philologist-researcher;
- • Junior scientific associate (philology, linguistics and translation);
- • Scientific associate (philology, linguistics and translation);
- • Scientific associate and consultant (philology, linguistics and translation);
State form trainees receive work referrals. Students are provided with hostel for the period of study.
