On May 11, on the initiative of Mariia Ivanchenko, associate professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies, and with the participation of the department's teachers, in particular, the head of the department, Oleh Tyshchenko, and the guarant of the educational program, Professor Oksana Babelyuk, a meeting was held within the framework of the Erasmus+ program with Professor Marina Lambrou from Kingston University in London, who gave a lecture for Masters of Philology "RETELLING CATASTROPHE THROUGH TRANSLATION".
Masters of specialty 035 "Philology" had the opportunity to learn the features of literary works written by victims of war, and the specifics of their translation. After the lecture, a discussion took place, during which the participants shared their opinions about strategies for reproducing such works and the level of the translator's responsibility.
