The University team of Vice-Rector for Research Vasyl POPOVYCH, Head of the Educational and Scientific Institute Roman YAKOVCHUK, Deputy Head of the Department of Civil Protection Andrii HAVRYS, and Head of the Department of Information Technologies and Electronic Communications Systems Nazarii BURAK, continues its cooperation within the Erasmus+ project with the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences, Tallinn, Republic of Estonia.
During the visit, a meeting was held with Kuno Tammer, Rector of the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences, Tallinn, where a report on the educational activities of Lviv State University of Life Safety was presented. He also took part in the first scientific seminar “Research Group on Crisis Awareness,” where the University's scientific and IT developments were presented, and the main directions for further cooperation and possible joint projects within the Horizon program were outlined.
The University team met with students from LSULS studying in Estonia within the Erasmus+ student mobility program. They discussed how well the students are doing and how they're meeting the requirements of the Estonian Academy of Security's educational programs.
Besides, the University team visited the Estonian Rescue Service Headquarters and the Estonian EOD Training Center, where representatives of these agencies outlined the specifics of their work and development plans until 2027.
