O. A. Kryvopyshyna, the head of the department of applied psychology and pedagogy, Doctor of Psychological Science, has organized the panel discussion called "The Psychology of action: a portrait of the modern hero." The lecturers of the department of applied psychology and pedagogy, humanities and social work, students and cadets with the cpecialization in  "Applied Psychology" of Lviv State University of Life Safety, as well as the lecturers and students of "Lviv Polytechnic" National University with the cpecialization in "Applied Psychology" and "Social work" took part in the meeting.

​On March 11 at 03.23 a.m. the outside call about the fire in the car Opel Vivaro in Lviv, the Pasichna str.,84, was received. Regular patrol of the educational fire and rescue department of Lviv State University of Life Safety arrived at the area of emergency situation.

​During the week, the lecturers of the department of foreign languages ​​and technical translation held a regular session of Methodological Seminar of foreign language lecturers of Ukrainian educational institutions and the seminar "Theory and Practice of Military and Technical Translation." 

  The commemoration meeting  of Heaven’s Hundred "Heroes do not die ..." was held​ in the cultural and educational center of the University. The third-year cadets and students of the Institute of Civil Defence prepared this memorial artistic event.

 

​February 15-16, 2014 in Lutsk, Ukrainian Championship of traditional and contact karate took place.
A first-year student Olha Komarnytska who is studying at our University in "Philology (English-Ukrainian translation)" participated in the competition. She won the gold medal and become the champion of Ukraine in karate-do (IKA) section kata, women 18 +.
