The visual aid room dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Famine in Ukraine took place in the university

The event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Famine in Ukraine was held in the university on November 22, 2013. Department of Ukrainian Studies prepared and performed movie lecture centre «James Mays’ candle». ​

Scientists of the University were involved in international investigative project in the area of human safety

​Lviv State University of Life Safety was visited by professor Z. Yegingil (Turkey) and professor S. Ubizskyi (Ukraine) who realize investigative project «New dosimetry for establishing care assistance sequence for people who were affected by ionizing emission» which is as a part of NATO programme «Science for the sake of peace and safety».

​On 7 November in premises of Vinnytsya National Technical University the cadets of Higher Technical school of Lviv State University of Life Safety took part in roundtable of the coordination and consultative Council of the student government under the head the regional council on the topic: "Euro integration vector of modern Ukraine. Position of the youth of Vinnitsya region".

​Approximately 1000 young boys and girls with their parents visited Lviv State University of Life Safety and acquainted with conditions of entrance and studying. 

Cadet of Lviv State University of Life Safety of Ukraine became world champion in bodybuilding

Sergiy Karpa who is cadet of Lviv State University of Life Safety of Ukraine stood on the highest podium steps for seven days. At first, it was the world championships, which was held in Rome, then - Ukraine Championship. 

A well-known kobza player Vasyl Nechepa visited Lviv State University of Life Safety

​ On November 7 in Lviv State University of Life Safety there was a recital dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko. The kobzar-lyricist from Chernigiv, laureate of the National Shevchenko Prize, People's Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Nechepa visited the university and gave the cadets an unforgettable concert. 

Scientists discussed the problem of specialist training to the work in extreme conditions

​The VI National Scientific conference with international participation "Personality in extreme conditions" which was organized by the Department of Applied Psychology and Pedagogy took place in Lviv State University of Life Safety on 7 - 8 November.

Professor of the university successfully defended his thesis

​Ivan Pasnak, Lecturer of the Department of Vehicle Exploitation and Fire-Rescue Technology, has successfully defended his thesis for obtaining candidate degree in speciality 21.06.02 – fire safety.

This significant day in the history of Lviv State University of Life Safety took place on the 20th of September in Italy.
