LSULS - member of Erasmus+ KA220 international project consortium

The kick-off meeting of the consortium within the international project Erasmus+ KA220 was held at the Institute of Space Research and Technology of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia. Representatives of LSULS Professor Oleh Zachko (project coordinator from the University) and Associate Professor Dmytro Kobylkin are participants in the international Erasmus+ project KA220-HED - Cooperation partnerships in higher education SUDEM - a project aimed at transforming the processes of future disaster management across Europe. The consortium members are leading universities and research institutions in Europe: Hochschule Offenburg (Germany), Information Technologies B.V. (Netherlands), Space Research and Technology Institute, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (Bulgaria), Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (Turkey), Lviv State University of Life Safety (Ukraine) and West Ukrainian National University (Ternopil, Ukraine).
The project envisages the launch of a digital educational platform for training experts, as well as a foresight analysis of intelligent approaches to disaster management in the future. Each project partner has demonstrated their scientific achievements and capacity for successful project implementation. For example, the Institute of Space Research and Technology of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences presented the material and technical base for the development of unmanned aerial vehicles for future disaster management.
The international project findings will be implemented in the educational process under both educational and professional and educational and scientific programmes "Project Management", which are focused on project management in the security area.
