З життя університету

English Teaching of Foreign Languages ​​and Technical Translation and students of the Institute of Psychology and Social Security took part in staging the play "See the unseen" ("To see the invisible man") based on the story of Robert Silverberg. Students ET-11, ET-21, SR-22 and PP-22 performed their roles in English. The purpose of the play was to reveal the peculiarities of human communication, because in the world there are more than 5,000 languages ​​that help 7 billion people communicate with each other. 

December 17, 2015 it was held scientific seminar of Institute of Fire and Technical Safety on "Theory and practice of state supervision in the field of fire and technological safety." The seminar was organized by the departments of monitoring and prevention activities" and "Rights and management in the sphere of civil protection."

December 17, 2015, it was organized a round table by assistant professor of tactics and fire rescue V.Loik and lecturer O. Synelnikov on the theme "Organization of rescue operations on water" within the discussion of training of cadets and students to conduct rescue operations on water. 

On the basis of fire rescue department of Lviv State University of Life Safety, students of local schools got special practical training of the basics of life safety. Training takes place in the framework of Lviv University of SSES of Ukraine a great international project within the program «Polska pomoc» was funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland. 

Students of the University participated in laying flowers and holding rank memorial service for the victims of the accident at the memorial "Heroes and Victims of Chernobyl".
