Today 13 December at University temple of the Holy Virgin the guide of the establishment together with veterans, cadets and students and teaching staff honoured the liquidators of the Chernobyl accident that in 1986 fought with nuclear element and unhesitatingly fulfilled their professional duty.

December 11 at Lviv State University of Life Safety inauguration of masters’ diploma took place. For the first time in the history of the university, all graduates received international models diplomas of highest educational level and they will perform the functions of implementing the state policy in the field of civil protection of population and territories from emergency situations to prevent their occurrence and state supervision of the observance and implementation of legislation in the relevant areas work in educational and scientific fields.

As a part of a large-scale international project Lviv State University of Life Safety got modern fire fighting and rescue equipment and clothing.
  The project is held by Lviv State University of Life Safety within the program «Polska pomoc» and financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland. 

During November 2015 at the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Technical Translation it was held two inter-university seminars and webinar. At the session of the seminar "Theory and practice of military art and Technical Translation" it was discussed the optimization of the educational process and training of translators.

2 December a lecturer of the department of Practical Psychology and Pedagogy of the Institute of Psychology and Social Protection organized a workshop on the development of the Christmas wreath.
