A student of Institute of Psychology and Social Protection of  Lviv State University of Life Safety Valeriia Tsarenko (1996) needs aid.

January 31, on the territory of the 18th State Fire and Rescue Department it was carried the funeral of a fire-rescuer, Sergeant of civil protection Vyacheslav Potapenko, who died during the liquidation of fire in the multi-storeyed building on I.Leps Avenue.

The delegation of the Lviv State University of Life Safety visited the volunteer fire department of the city Zachernye, the Republic of Poland. During the visit the educational institution of SES of Ukraine was given a special fire rescue vehicle Iveco Magirus. It will be used for training purposes, as well as for service and operational objectives of the emergency response.

December 22 it was held the meeting of the Academic Council of Lviv State University of Life Safety. The opening speech was given by the Rector, Doctor of Education, Professor Mykhailo Kozyar. 

During December 2015 the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Technical Translation held two inter-university seminars and department webinar. At the session of the seminar "Theory and practice of art and military-technical translation" the lecturer of the department of Applied Linguistics of G.Kochur of Lviv National University of Ivan Franko Galyna Pehnik described the simultaneous interpretation difficulties which may arise in connection with the peculiarities of interpreter’s temperament.
