On April 25 Educational and Research Institute of Psychology and Social Protection organized a meeting with Igor Papusha - founder of the "Eastern European Institute of Coaching", an expert in the field of self-development and personal effectiveness, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Ukrainian Catholic University, scholar of Harvard University, author of many works on narratology.

On April 25 rectorial election was held at Lviv State University of Life Safety according to the law requirements.

On a special meeting of the Rectorial Election Organizing Committee structural units were  combined in 5 groups with the purpose of proper organization of the election. Groups #1-3 contained University units, geographically located on Kleparivska 35 (Lviv) – station №1. Groups #4-5 contained separate university units - Higher Vocational School and High School of Civil Protection (Vinnitsa) - section №2.

On April 10 Igor Kordiyaka representing LSULS attended the seminar for the press services of SES of Ukraine territorial units. The seminar was organized in Kyiv by the representatives of the Reform Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Information and Documentation Center of  NATO mission in Ukraine and EU EUAM UKRAINE Advisory Mission. During the workshop, participants discussed the reform of fire safety, involving volunteer firefighters to help professional rescuers and studied new techniques of social networks.

Between April 6 and April 9 Police Horting Open European Championship took place in Truskavets. Cadets of Lviv State University of Life Safety (unarmed self-defence section) took part in competitions and obtained the following results:
Yuri Rogovskiy(CD-3) - 2-nd place;
Nazar Sereda (CD-3) - 3-rd place;
Vladyslav Oliynyk (CD-4) - 2-nd place.

On March 29-30 the second round of Ukrainian Student Olympiad on "Fire Safety" discipline took place at National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine.

Nearly 50 participants from different regions of the country took part in the competition. Our university was represented by the 4th year cadets O. Kobko, O. Maksimov and V. Navalyanyy. PhD Oleg Nazarovets was the head of our delegation.

Cadet Olexandr Kobko received a diploma for the second place in the Olympiad.
