On March 30-31, 2017 International scientific and practical conference "Scientific Heritage of Academician Ivan Zyazyun in Present and Future Dimensions" took place at National Pedagogical Dragomanov University. It was attended by a delegation from Lviv State University of Life Safety including Rector of the University Mykhailo Kozyar, Professor Hryhoriy Vasyanovych, Professor Andriy Lytvyn, Professor Larysa Rudenko.

On March 30 Lviv Regional Conference "Together for Kids! Deinstitutionalisation and development in the field of social policy" took place at Lviv State University of Life Safety. It was organized by Department of Humanities and Social Work (LSULS), CF "Ukrainian Galician Foundation" with the assistance of the Lviv City Council and the Office of Children's Services (Lviv Regional State Administration) in the framework of Civic Campaign "Opening the Door for Children".

On March 28 at the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy (Kharkiv) the final round of the All-Ukrainian student research contest on specialty "Theory and methods of professional education" was held. In the final part of the competition more than 20 candidates, representing more than a dozen universities across the country took part. Cadet of the 1st year (Educational and Research Institute of Fire and Technological Safety) Dmytro Babinin presented his work «APPLICATION OF 3D COMPUTER GRAPHICS FOR RESCUERS'S PREPARATION" and won the third place.

A contest for the best amateur group was held at Lviv State University of Life Safety. It was a real celebration of music, acting and dance for the staff of our institution that came to the University Center of Culture and Arts to watch enchanting and interesting art event in which students and students reveal their creative potential. The creative staff of the Institutes presented various performances in the following categories: vocal and instrumental ensemble, dance songs, poetry, humor and others.

On March 23-24 XII International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists, Cadets and Students “Problems and Prospects of Life Safety Development" took place at Lviv State University of Life Safety. It was opened by the vice-rector for research Colonel Taras Rak. The conference involved 135 young scientists, cadets and students, and more than 35 representatives of teaching staff of the University and other educational institutions.
