On February 24 the Head of SES of Ukraine Mykola Chechotkin held a Public Report of "On results of SES of Ukraine in 2016" during the open meeting of the SES Board.

On February 21, 2017 a public hearing on «Annual Report of Office of Children's Services (2016) and the main 2017 year's plans» at the session hall of the Lviv Regional Council took place. The event was attended by lecturers of the Department of Humanities and Social Work (Associate Professor  L. Kryvachuk, Associate Professor  V. Hrytsanyuk , T. Stopets ) together with the students of the 4th year of study (field of study «Social Work").

On February 20 teaching staff, cadets and students of the University commemorated the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. Archpriest Roman Velykyi sent a great requiem for those who gave their lives for freedom, independence, democracy and European values. Then all in attendance watched a theatrical performance dedicated to the memory of the Heroes. Cadets and students also joined the nationwide minute of silence and took part in commemorating events on the central square of the city, near the Monument to Taras Shevchenko.

On February 18 masters' and specialists' graduation ceremony took place at Lviv State University of Life Safety. 123 graduates of Correspondence Department got their diplomas, (20 of them - with distinction). Rectorate of the University, Heads of Institutes together with all scientific and pedagogical staff greeted the graduates with such a solemn event. First Vice-Rector, Professor Myroslav Koval said: "Today you have completed studies at the University, which is recognized as a leader of the national education in the field of human security.

A practical lessons for smoke divers took place at Educational Fire and Rescue Unit.
In general such classes consist of three practical stages.
Initially the smoke divers train putting on and putting off the SCUBA in a certain sequence and actions due to appropriate commands of a leader.
