Practical training at the University with Colleagues from higher education institutions of the SES of Ukraine

Within the framework of the project “Regional Rescue Training Centers-Support of the Voluntary Fire Protection and Professional Rescue Service Training System in Ukraine” a three-day training for representatives of NUTSZ of Ukraine, ChIPB named after Heroes of Chernobyl started on the training ground of Lviv State University of Life Safety. The event takes place on unique simulators in Ukraine, namely: fire module, conditions and temperature in which corresponds to a real fire in the room and a gas simulator, which is in the equipment of Ukrainian gas stations.
Today the participants attended a number of theoretical lectures, and the training instructors demonstrated the development of fire and dangerous situations on the simulator (a house): "Flashover" and "Backdraft", then the guests got acquainted with the properties of liquefied gas and practiced water jets.
The training is conducted by instructors, teachers of the Department of Fire Tactics and Emergency Rescue of the University, who have been trained and received B-SAHF instructor certificates.
The purpose of the training is to train new instructors, as within the framework of this project similar simulators will be received by other institutions of higher education of the State Emergency service of Ukraine.
