"Support of the system of training of voluntary fire protection and also advanced training of the state rescue services of Ukraine" stage I
«Wsparcie systemu kształcenia ochotniczych straży pożarnych oraz podnoszenia kwalifikacji zawodowych służb ratowniczych na Ukrainie» modul I
The result of the first stage of the project "Support to the voluntary fire training system, as well as training of state rescue services of Ukraine" of the program "Polska pomoc rozwojowa 2017" was the installation of a multifunctional container simulator at the training ground of Lviv State University training of rescuers.
The project was attended by the leader of the consortium Main School of State Fire Service in Warsaw, project partners: Lviv State University of Life Safety, Main Directorate of the SES in Lviv region, Lviv regional organization of the Voluntary Fire Brigade of Ukraine.
On December 12, the Consular General of the Republic of Poland in Lviv Rafal Wolski, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Marek Kuberski, representatives of the Main School of State Fire Service in Warsaw, Deputy Director of the Department of Firefighting Petro Andriyovych Korotynsky, representatives of the project partners, as well as the heads of the main departments of the SES of Ukraine in the western region.
Long-term cooperation between the Main School of State Fire Service in Warsaw and Lviv State University of Life Safety allows the school to learn best practices in human safety, introduce innovative technologies in the educational process, and most importantly - to practice practical skills in such training complexes.
This complex is a powerful reinforcement of the practical component of the educational process, because it is the most reproducible conditions, close to real indoor fires, where every future rescuer will be able to test themselves in extreme emergencies and practice the acquired theoretical knowledge. There are only 20-18 such training complexes on the territory of the Republic of Poland and two abroad (one in Georgia, the other in our school).
