Cooperation with the Main School of Fire Service (Warsaw, Poland) on union master's studies continues

This week, cadets of Lviv State University of Life Safety finished the semester at the Main School of Fire Service (Warsaw, Poland) as part of an agreement between higher education institutions for union master's studies. Cadets Bilonozhko Bohdan, Borachok Oleh, Vehrenovskyi Nazariy and Lemishko Mykhailo had the opportunity to learn from the experience of Polish colleagues in the field of fire safety, emergency response and rescue operations. Following the training, the cadets successfully passed tests and exams in a number of professional disciplines.
It is worth mentioning that during the semester in the practical classes students worked on group projects to organize firefighting at various facilities and evacuation of people, studied the properties of structures in fire conditions, as well as worked on projects related to media work in emergency situations. In addition, the cadets had the opportunity to get acquainted with the capabilities of rescue equipment, which is located in the Main School of Fire Service and took part in practical classes at the training ground, where they learned about all training components of the training ground and technical means used in training.
As a result of training, cadets under the guidance of Polish colleagues also completed master's theses,based on the results of which students of our University have the opportunity to obtain European diplomas of the Main School of Fire Service of the Republic of Poland.
