Interpreter from Britain conducted seminar for LSULS students

Bachelor's and master's students had the opportunity to join the interuniversity seminar, which was organized by the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies of the Lviv State University of Life Safety. Other universities from Lviv, Drohobych, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv also joined the event. The speaker was Vladyslav Kulikov, a freelance translator from Britain in the field of medicine. It was the latest interactive training in interpretation, with an informative presentation and constant involvement of practical experience and really useful advice from a practicing expert. Vlad Kulikov considered five typical scenarios in the work of a translator, analyzed the common problems encountered by translators of various types of translation and suggested possible ways to eliminate them.
