“Soft skills development in teaching professional training”: Masters of Philology took part in international scientific pedagogical internship
During June-July, 2023 LSULS Masters of Philology K. Koval and M. Kulyk together with the guarantor of the Master’s degree program, Professor O. Babelyuk, took part in the International scientific pedagogical internship “Soft skills development in teaching professional training”, organized jointly with the Scientific and Methodical Center for Literature Research and Teaching of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and The Ukrainian-Polish Educational Foundation, “The Institute for International Academic and Scientific Cooperation” (IIASC). The internship program comprised two modules: urgent topicality lectures (remotely) and an on-site seminar (July 21-29, 2023), which was held in the city of Baia Domizia (Italy). During the seminar, the Masters were invited to participate in lectures-discussions, seminars, workshops. In particular, Professor Lidiya Matsevko-Bekerska (the Head of the Department of World Literature) excited the curiosity of the participants in the lecture “Professional summits of educational space: per aspera ad astra”, Doctor of Political Economy, a co-founder and director of the Ukrainian Polish Foundation IIASC, Oksana Tsmots, within the keynote statement “Project Idea Development and Problem Statement in Educational Institutions”, organized a network building workshop, providing an opportunity for the internship participants to exchange experience in implementation of educational projects of the widest topicality and define prospects for future cooperation with LSULS in the area of official and business documents translation; Project Manager for Psychological and Social Support of the humanitarian aid organization IsraAid Ukraine, Candidate of Psychological Sciences Yuliia Breus conducted the training “About communication: what is effective communication?”; the Chairperson of Preschool and Primary Education Department, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Nataliia Machynska organized an immensely topical seminar-training on professional burnout “Burned out by one’s own will”. The participants of the internship comprised Masters, teachers, university lecturers, methodologists from Lviv, Mykolaiv, Kropyvnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk region, Rivne region. Dialogues and meaningful discussions are initiated, proposed plans open vast opportunities for joint projects and advancement in educational and scientific cooperation.
