Today 22 rescuers of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Ternopil region headed by the Deputy Head of the Main Department for Emergency Response Yuriy Berestetskyi visited the Training Ground of the Lviv State University of Life Safety to learn and practice their skills at BFTC fire module and gas simulator.
In fire and rescue work, the theoretical, special and physical training of the gas and smoke detector is extremely important, because every year thousands of fires and emergencies occur in the Ternopil region.
The main purpose of the training was to show to Ternopil colleagues the educational opportunities of LSULS modern training complex, which is designed for practical training of gas and smoke defenders to work in a non-breathable environment during fires and high temperatures using various personal protective equipment and tactical training, as well as firefighting techniques. They also had the opportunity to work out a modern approach to the operation of fire extinguishing jets and the procedure for hydraulic ventilation in the premises, the method of operation of the gas and fire protector units during gas flare combustion. Vasyl LUSHCH, Oleksandr LAZARENKO, Yarema VELYKYI and Vitaliy POSPOLITAK shared their experience and high knowledge in the field of fire and rescue. Together with Andriy PETRENKO they worked out the method of carrying out works in a limited space with the use of special rescue equipment.
