Academic mobility finish in Freiberg Mining Academy of LSULS adjunct
From September 20 to October 20, the University adjunct, the captain of civil service Kateryna KOROL finished her academic mobility at the Freiberg Mining Academy in the program framework "Scientific cooperation with the Universities of developing countries" of international project "EcoMining: development of integrated graduate program for sustainable mining and environmental activities" in Germany.
This project includes practical courses for graduate students and masters in Freiberg Mining Academy. During her stay, the associate professor conducted experiments with determination of heavy metal content of soil and water samples from devastated landscapes of Lviv region. During the training there were carried out a few excursions to the reclaimed areas of waste heaps of mines, to the territory of the academy buildings and around the cultural heritage of Saxony.
After completing the mobility, experts, doctors of sciences from Ukraine and Germany were invited to the Academy, among whom was the doctor of technical sciences, professor, head of Educational and Scientific Institute of Civil Defense, Colonel of the Civil Service defense Vasyl POPOVYCH, who received 1 ECTS credit. The adjunct received a certificate for 6 ECTS credits.
