In the framework of the international project "Ecologistics - improving the management of solid waste landfills in Lviv region" the research laboratory of environmental safety of Lviv State University of Life Safety received modern equipment. The following equipment was obtained to complete the laboratory:
- Multi-gas analyzers DP-24 and DP-28, designed to measure the concentration of gaseous air pollutants in the workplace, industrial facilities, utilities, livestock facilities, etc.
- Multifunctional water analyzer CX-461, designed for accurate measurements: pH, salinity, the resistivity of the measured liquid dissolved in water or oxygen saturation of air, atmospheric pressure and temperature.
- The DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone, designed for field research, its flight characteristics allow the reach of hard-to-reach places.
- The Voltcraft PH-212 pH meter and the Voltcraft PH-100 pH meter, equipped with a replaceable electrode, the design of which provides the ability to measure liquids (water, juices, milk, etc.), viscous media and even soil.
- The GXZ-3tk multifunctional immersion head, allows measuring pH, conductivity, salinity, dissolved oxygen and water temperature.
- DP-28-MAP, designed to control the composition and physical parameters of gas mixtures used in food packaging with a modified atmosphere.
- Humidity meter BT-235PT displays the humidity index on a scale from 1 to 7.
- Multifunctional analyzer CX-705 belongs to the latest generation of measuring equipment and allows measuring: pH; redox potential; ion concentration; conductivity of the solution; salinity, calculated on NaCl, KCl or TDS; resistivity of the solution; oxygen saturation of air (%) and concentration of dissolved oxygen in water (% or mg / l); atmospheric pressure; air temperature or solutions in ° C, ° F and K; allows semi-automatic titration.
- Thermal imaging moisture meter Flir MR160 is equipped with a full set of external contact probes for measuring humidity, the possibility of contactless humidity measurement, and is equipped with a thermal imaging camera that allows you to detect and visualize the slightest changes in humidity.
- Woven Thermo / hygrometer, which is used for accurate measurements of relative humidity and temperature, as well as determining the dew point.
- Thermal imaging camera K2, designed specifically for firefighting and operation in emergencies.
- Gamma-Scout STANDARD, designed to measure alpha, beta and gamma radiation.
- Trotec TA400 anemometer - measures air velocity up to 80 m / sec. which is unreachable for most other devices. In addition to measuring the air flow rate, the device measures its differential and absolute pressure.
- 2 Motic microscopes, designed to examine small, invisible objects in a magnified image.
- Atomic absorption spectrophotometer C-115M1, designed to determine the concentrations of chemical elements in water, soil, air, food, etc.
These devices will allow cadets, students, associate professors, research and teaching staff of the university to conduct more detailed research aimed at monitoring processes in landfills, coal mine dumps, detailed study of the impact of waste on environmental components, large-scale reclamation projects and transformation places for landscape objects that perform recreational and environmental roles.
