Commemorative liturgy of forty days after death of "Heaven’s hundred” took place at the University

Forty days of mass murders in the center of Kyiv passed. Commemorative liturgy in memory of the dead activists of public outcry took place at Lviv State University of Life Safety in Holy Virgin Protection Church.
All University personnel, cadets and students joined Common Prayer. They honored the memory of the heroes of “Heaven’s Hundred” who died for the freedom of Ukraine. In prayer the senior priest of the church, Father Roman Velykyj mentioned all those who for the cost of their lives fought a right of every Ukrainian for a better life. More than a hundred of activists were the victims of Euromaydan events. Several hundreds were injured.
In support of bereaved families the staff of Lviv State University of Life Safety initiated fundraising. In particular, more than 60 thousand hryvnyas " were transferred through charitable telethon "Heaven’s Hundred" conducted by “5 Channel.”
