Director of the Institute of Internal Security of the Main School of the State Fire Service in Warsaw Robert Pietz gave a lecture at the Lviv State University of Life Safety

Today at Lviv State University of Life Safety, Doctor of Engineering, Senior Brigadier Robert Pietz, Director of the Institute of Internal Security of the Main School of State Fire Service in Warsaw, gave an open lecture on the topic "Possibilities of modeling the propagation of atmospheric substances released during fires, which occurred in landfills for solid waste".

During the lecture, a unique program "AAMKS" was presented, developed by the scientific and pedagogical staff of Main School of State Fire Service in Warsaw, namely: doktor habil. in engineering Violeta Rogulya-Kozlovska and associate prof. Jan Bihalovich.

The cooperation between the University and the Main School in Warsaw has been continuing over 15 years. During this time, a number of international projects were successfully implemented, in which both research and teaching staff and cadets of the University participated. Further cooperation includes educational and scientific activities with the participation of the academic community of both institutions. The lecturer's assistant was Iryna Kochmar, a University adjunct and a lecturer at the Department of Environmental Safety.
Since 2017, within the framework of the agreement on joint master's degree in "Safety Engineering" under the double degree program signed between Lviv State University of Life Safety and the Main School of State Fire Service in Warsaw, University cadets have the opportunity to learn best practices during two semesters from Polish colleagues.
We hope that our cooperation will continue and we will implement many more joint international projects.
