English level certification at Lviv State University of Life Safety: Pearson Online Placement Test

On September 7, cadets and students of the University passed the exam and received certificates confirming the level of English language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR Pearson Online Placement Profile Test). This test makes it possible to assess the skills of Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading, Writing, Listening and get results on each of them on the CEFR scale. This test is an adaptive machine test that allows students to assess the understanding of both grammar and linguistic content, which makes it one of the most reliable machine tests on the market.
It should be noted that such certificates were issued for the first time in our institution of higher education, on the basis of an agreement between the Pearson University Press and the Rector of the University, Professor Myroslav Koval.
The Pearson Online Placement Test Certificate is recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for the award of academic titles of associate professor and professor.
