EU-CHEM-REACT project 2 Field exercise take place this year: The university head took part in the third online session

Today the head of the University took part in the third online session on preparation and conducting full-scale field exercise and a planning conference under the EU-CHEM-REACT 2 project.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Directorate-General for Civil Protection and humanitarian aid from the EU, the International Center for Chemical Safety and Security (ICSP) in Warsaw (Republic of Poland), Main Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic, General Inspectorate for Emergencies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova,
University of Civil Defense of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, as well as representatives from Lithuania and Latvia. Representatives of international organizations also took part in the online conference organizations WHO, UN OCHA, INTERPOL, OPCW. From LSULS in the event took part Professor Myroslav Koval, First Vice-Rector Roman Ratushnyi, Vice-Rector Dmytro Chalyi, Head of the International Cooperation Department Oleksandr Sviatkevych.
After discussing all the details and plans, the participants of the third session of the planning conference set a date for the upcoming field exercise - September 27-29, 2021, Lviv (Ukraine). Also an agreement was signed to extend the project until the end of December 2021 and the payment schedule was revised, safety and security manual was discussed, as well as arrangements and logistical issues.
