"European integration of Ukrainian science and education: problems and challenges": representatives of LSULS took part in international scientific and practical conference for vice-rectors.

The international scientific and practical conference for vice-rectors of scientific work of higher education institutions of Ukraine "European integration of Ukrainian science and education: problems and challenges" took place at the State Educational Institution "Uzhhorod National University". The event brought together about 50 vice-rectors to develop a basis for the European integration of Ukrainian education and science.
The event was organized by Uzhhorod National University and Center for Ukrainian-European Scientific Cooperation. On October 27, the solemn opening of the conference was held by Uzhhorod National University rector Volodymyr Smolianka. Afterwards, Oleh Holovko, chairman of the supervisory board of the Center for Ukrainian-European scientific cooperation, and Petro Dobromilskyi, deputy chairman of the regional military administration of Zakarpattia region delivered speeches.
After the official part, a plenary session was held under the supervision of Mykola Palinchak, dean of the Faculty of International Economics
relations.
Acting vice-rector for scientific research of LSULS, Doctor of Technical Sciences Vasyl Popovych and researcher Andrii Beseda joined the conference.
Within the framework of the conference, attention was focused on such topics as:
⁃ current issues of scientific activity in higher education institutions of Ukraine;
⁃ transformation of scientific personnel training paradigm of Ukraine: European integration aspects;
⁃ transformation of educational digital space tools;
⁃ prospects of domestic science in the conditions of modern legal regulations;
⁃ Features and conditions for the development of scholarly activities in Romania (as a possible pattern for Ukraine).
Vasyl Popovych, Doctor of Technical Sciences, presented a report dedicated to the scientific activity of the Lviv State University of Life Safety in Wartime.
