Klagenfurt, Austria hosts the General Assembly of EFSCA (the world's largest association of educational and scientific institutions working in the field of human security) and an international conference on "The impact of trends and megatrends on training in the fire service."
Among the 25 member countries of the Association, Ukraine is represented by a delegation of Lviv State University of Life Safety headed by the University Rector - Professor Myroslav Koval and Vice-Rector for Academic and Methodological Work Dmytro Chalyi. By the way, the University has been a full member of EFSCA since 2008. Such cooperation allows us to learn from the experience of European countries in responding to and preventing emergencies, to develop common safety standards and concepts, to share modern scientific and technical achievements and experience in training.
