Holiday of courageous, strong and brave: Rescuer day celebrations at University

September 17 - a professional holiday of those who save other people's lives, each time risking their own. Real heroes, who perform truly noble and courageous deeds.
On this occasion, the day before the holiday, an official ceremony took place at Lviv State University of Life Safety. For high professionalism and conscientious performance of official duties in the field of youth training University Rector, Professor Myroslav KOVAL awarded the Certificate of Merit of State Emergency Service of Ukraine to Ihor KRAVETS and Olha BEGLOVA. Gratitude of State Emergency Service of Ukraine to Pavlo BOSAK, Nazariy BURAK, Oleh PAZEN and Mykola SHALAN. Also, a number of research and teaching staff, cadets and students received University certificates. Vasyl POPOVYCH, Ihor VELYKOPOLSKYI, Yuriy VELYKOPOLSKYI and Ruslan PLISHILO received special official titles.
According to the Regulations on junior commanders of cadet divisions of LSULS, the first year cadets were assigned to perform duties with the right to wear the insignia "senior cadet". The audience greeted them with loud applause.
Continuing the solemn part, Myroslav KOVAL handed over the certificates of service veterans of civil defense to Volodymyr ANDRUSCHYSHYN, Stepan TRUKHYM and Roman STASYO.
Chairman of the University Veterans Andriy KHARCHUK addressed the audience with words of congratulations.
After the first part, the creative teams of the University performed for the audience.
