International field training EU-CHEM-REACT 2 has been completed

This afternoon the field exercises with the participation of 4 European countries, where Ukraine was represented by Lviv State University of Life Safety, completed. The improvised stage, in the middle of the camp site, was attended by the founders, participants, international observers, experts, drivers, figurants and support forces, all those who for a long time spent much efforts to ensure that these exercises took place at such a high level. Welcoming the audience, the Rector of the University, Professor Myroslav Koval thanked all the founders, participants from Ukraine and abroad, experts and members of the European Commission, without whom these exercises would not have taken place, and especially Myroslav Stefanovych thanked Felix Bloch, the Director of the Main European Directorate Department of civil protection and humanitarian aid.

"I am convinced that during the training you not only gained unprecedented experience, but made friends among colleagues as well. These exercises have brought us closer as one big team, whose motto is: "A safe Europe is a strong Europe"! I wish everyone good health and safe return home "

In his welcoming speech, the project coordinator Krzysztof Paturej thanked everyone for their work, and the Vice President of Poland Republic Voluntary Fire Service Wieslaw Lisnikewicz

emphasized that the cooperation with Ukraine, in particular with the Lviv State University of Life Safety, took place at a high level and brought great results for all participants.

These trainings are special and unique because they are the first after such a long break due to a pandemic. The European Community has once again shown its unity, and the exercises practiced during the exercises will be etched in the memory of all participants for a long time.
