International Safety Cluster: European colleagues have visited LSULS to conduct an educational course

The Educational Course International Safety Cluster has been initiated at the premises of Lviv State University of Life Safety today. The event is conducted with the representatives of the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, the Danish Emergency Management Agency as well as the SESU Central Office Representatives.At the beginning of the event the Rector of the University, Professor Myroslav Koval greeted the guests at Lviv State University of Life Safety. The Vice-Rector for Educational and Methodical Work Dmytro Chalyi presented the logistical infrastructure of the University to all the guests.A range of reports was delivered, regarding the peculiarities of conducting emergency and rescue operations under martial law conditions, fire extinguishing specificity under martial law conditions, logistics under wartime conditions, co-operation with international partners and personnel training in providing pre-medical assistance.
The representatives of the SESU Main Department in Kharkiv Region delivered a report on organization of recovery of fire and rescue units in the Kharkiv region de-occupied territory, and the report entitled Personnel shelter during air-raid hazards was given by the SESU Main Department in Mykolaiv Region representative.After discussing the burning and current issues and summarizing the results of the meeting, the Head of the LSULS Educational and Methodical Centre Mykola Sychevskyi familiarized the guests with the educational logistical infrastructure of Lviv State University of Life Safety.
