Liliiia Pylypenko, LSULS postgraduate student made academic visit to London

As part of the implementation of the international project "Erasmus+" at Kingston University (London, Great Britain) from March 13 to 17, 2023, Liliia PYLYPENKO, senior lieutenant of the Civil Defense Service, lecturer at the Department of Practical Psychology and Pedagogy of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Psychology and Social Protection, was on an academic visit from Lviv State University of Life Safety. The aim was to establish academic and scientific cooperation between universities and create favorable conditions for the implementation of academic mobility for all participants in the educational process. During the week, Liliia Pylypenko learned the organization of educational, methodical and scientific work at Kingston University, the material base of the educational institution, conducted lectures and seminars for students. On March 16, 2023, a seminar for all interested parties was held on the topic "Psychosocial Support and Help for Ukrainians in Times of War", which aroused considerable interest among university researchers and active discussion of events related to the situation in Ukraine.
During the week, meetings were also held with Professor Mutana Samara and his PTSD research team, as well as the Head of the School of Law, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Professor Stephen Tong, on possible avenues for further collaboration.
There was also a meeting with students of LSULS who are studying at Kingston University and are preparing to take their exams and write essays.
