LSULS Rector took part in the preparatory session of EURO-MED-REACT project
On January 1, 2022, the international project "EURO-MED-REACT" started, in which Lviv State University of Life Safety participates as a member of an international consortium of performers.
On February 2, 2022, the Preparatory Session of the members of the international consortium and the representatives of the EU Directorate-General for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid took place in a hybrid format.
The University was represented by the rector Myroslav KOVAL. Among the participants were the project coordinator Ambassador Krzysztof Paturei, representatives of the General Inspectorate for Emergencies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Moldova), Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (Jordan), the Association of Fire Safety Works and Services in Vilnius (Lithuania), the General Inspectorate for Emergencies in Bucharest (Romania), the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, Prague and the Ministry of the Interior of Slovakia.
The purpose of the preparatory session is to acquaint the project participants with the main activities planned within the project and to agree on the terms and requirements for their implementation.
The EURO-MED-REACT project is funded by the European Commission and is a continuation of previous international projects successfully implemented by the international consortium EU-CHEM-REACT in 2017-2018 and EU-CHEM-REACT-2 in 2019-2021 leaded by the International Center for Chemical Safety and Security (ICCSS).
