Meeting with Tetra Tech representatives held at the University

A working meeting of the University management and academic staff with representatives of Tetra Tech, which is an executive partner of the Office of Weapons Recovery and Destruction of the US State Department, the Bureau for Political-Military Affairs of the World Weapons Destruction Support Service (WDSS) project in Ukraine, which provides assistance in humanitarian mine action, was held at the LSULS.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech by the Vice-Rector of the University, Dmytro Chalyi, who expressed his gratitude to the guests for their support in this difficult time for our country and emphasised the importance of cooperation in the field of mine action training under martial law.

During the working meeting, the academic staff of the University briefed the guests on the activities of Lviv State University of Life Safety in Warfare and told them about the peculiarities of training civil protection and mine action specialists under martial law.

Afterwards, they discussed international cooperation in the field of mine action and training for cadets and academic staff of the University, as well as the prospects of signing a memorandum.

Afterwards, the foreign delegation was given a tour of the University, during which the guests got acquainted with the history of the creation and development of our educational institution, as well as its material and technical base.
