Oath of Allegiance to Ukrainian people was taken by freshmen of Lviv State University of Life Safety

This is a significant day for freshmen, because from now on they will be guided by new responsibilities and guidelines aimed at the future of our state.
The celebrations were attended by the Rector of the University, Professor Myroslav Koval, the Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy and the Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region Colonel of the Civil Defense Yuriy Kagitin, and the priest of the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Roman Velykyi.
“I sincerely wish you that today's act of oath inspires you to behave like a person in all situations and to remain faithful to your father's covenants. Remember that you are creating the image of our University and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the capacity of which depends on each of us! ” - Myroslav Koval said to freshmen.
In a festive atmosphere, a number of employees of the University received honors and awards, namely: Colonel Andriy Petrenko was awarded the badge 'Best Employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine', Lieutenant Colonel of the Civil Defense Service Ivan Pasnak received the Diploma of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Lieutenant Colonel of the Civil Defense Service Andriy Voloshchyshyn and Professor of the Department of Practical Psychology and Pedagogy Andriy Lytvyn were awarded with a 'sign of honor'. Lieutenant Colonel of the Civil Defense Service Stepan Bilyk and Lieutenant Colonel of the Civil Defense Service Mykola Sychevskyi were awarded with the medal "20 years of conscientious service" of the SES of Ukraine. Ensign of the SES of Ukraine was awarded to Ihar Danchyshyn, Civil Defense Ensign, Serhii Yemelianenko, Major of the Civil Defense Service, and Oleksandra Palchevska, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies. Ensign of the Civil Defense Service was assigned to the Chief of the Civil Defense Service Furtak Yevhen.
The event was held in accordance with all quarantine norms and rules.
