Oksana Stelmakh took part in the training course seminar "Concept of Integrative Methods in Work with Trauma" (module 3) (Duderstadt, Germany)

In the period from April 20 to 24, 2023, the representative of the Lviv State University of Life Safety, deputy head of the Department of Practical Psychology and Pedagogy, Major of the Civil Defense Service Oksana STELMAKH, took part in the training course seminar "Concept of Integrative Methods in Work with Trauma" (3rd module) (Duderstadt, Germany).
The training course is aimed at training specialists in Ukraine who will be able to spread the method developed in response to the challenges of post-war Germany, when the country faced the huge problem of psychological trauma of the war. This is incredibly relevant for today's situation in Ukraine, where experience and appropriate tools are needed to help participants in military operations in the context of actual psychological trauma.
The main goal of participating in the seminar is to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in working with trauma, which provides an opportunity to work with displaced persons and to transfer experience to future psychologists in working in extreme situations.
During the visit, the representative of the university, Oksana STELMAKH, got acquainted with the peculiarities of the work of German specialists who worked with traumatized people of various ages after the war in different countries, as well as with Ukrainian refugees.
