Organization of work in individual means of respiratory protection: University cadets sharpen practical skills

During July-August 2022, on the basis of the educational and sports complex of the University, the teachers Vasyl Lusch and Yarema Velykiy, and the 3rd year cadets of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Fire and Industrial Safety conducted practical classes on the discipline "Organization of work in individual means of respiratory protection".
During the training, an exercise was practiced on the operational deployment of the department with the installation of a fire-rescue vehicle at a water source (fire hydrant) with the use of personal respiratory protection. Time for the assessment of the exercise (submission of one trunk "A" and one trunk "B", laying the main line on three sleeves d 77 mm and two working lines (on two sleeves d 51 mm and two sleeves d 66 mm) with the installation of a tanker truck on the fire station hydrant) for the rating "excellent" was 95 s, "good" - 105 s, "satisfactory" - 116 s. The best time (58 seconds) was shown by the team of Andrii Floranskyi, Maksym Mishchuk, Bohdan Havrylyak, Oleksandr Duchak, and Bohdan Starysh from the PB-32 training platoon.
