Practical lessons during bad weather: rescuers-to-be practice skills in Rescue Training Center

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, heavy snowfalls and blizzards, cadets of our University have a great chance to practice their skills in Rescue Training Center, which is located in LSULS.
Today a joint practical lesson was held in the center by the departments of civil protection and computer modeling of ecogeophysical processes and special rescue training and physical education. Cadets and students (PB-32 group) participated in terms of the course "Organization of rescue operations". Topic of the training is "Transportation of fire victims and accidents ". Transportation of victims is a responsible stage of the overall process of rescue operations. Ignorance of the rules, as well as the choice of wrong methods of transportation can lead to accidents, including death or further injury.
The lesson was conducted comprehensively in three stages:
First stage. Transportation of victims from the floors of the building on a sloping double rope in a rescue triangle and rescue stretchers (Petrenko A.).
Second stage. Working on practical aspects on the order of search and victim transportation and working on ways of victim transportation in different ways and in different conditions (Loik V., Synelnikov O.);
Third Stage. Rescue operations to transport victims in a confined space (Loik V., Sinelnikov O.);
This lesson gives opportunity for 3rd year cadets and students of the Institute of Fire and Technogenic Safety to practice the skills of methods and means of transporting victims in various emergencies.
