Senior Lecturer, Department of Civil Defense and Computer Science modeling of ecogeophysical processes took part in Day of Disaster Risk Reduction international webinars.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Civil Defense and Computer Modeling of Ecogeophysical Processes Andrii Havrys took part in the webinar "It is all about Disaster Risk Governance - Webinar to mark the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction - 2020", which was dedicated to the International Day for reducing the risk of natural disasters.
The event was attended by 74 representatives from all over the world. Among them: Abhilash Panda, Deputy Head of the UN Regional Office for Europe, Disaster Resistance Researcher, Huddersfield University Global Center for Disaster Resistance, UK, Dr Nuwan Dias, Senior Policy Adviser in Greater Manchester, UK, Karl Astbury, Deputy Director for Environment and Occupational Safety of the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Dr.Hema D.B. Herath, Department of Urban Planning and Regional Planning, Bandung Institute of Technology, Harkunti P. Rahayu.
