TRAINING CENTER OF RESCUE WORKS OPENED AT THE UNIVERSITY

On the professional holiday of all rescuers, September 17, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi visited Lviv State University of Life Safety. The President awarded the best workers of Civil Emergency Service of Ukraine with state awards, and others were awarded as `the Hero of the Year`. They were brave men of all ages who came to the rescue of people in need.
Afterwards, honorary guests: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Head of the State Emergency Service Mykola Chechotkin, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Serhiy Yarovy, Head of the Regional State Administration Maksym Kozytsky and many others visited the rescue training center. The complex was created this year and aims to improve the quality of educational services in the field of training rescuers. Due to the modern equipment of the rescue rescue training center, it is possible to practice a number of practical skills, in particular:
- to test the process of releasing victims from a car-transformer based on a Toyota Avensis chassis using modern equipment and providing first aid;
- to study the elements of active and passive safety on the basis of the simulator (Mercedes Benz), simulating airbags opening;
- to work out technical elements of movement on vertical ropes with use of climbing equipment with change of the direction of movement.
- to rescue victims from suspended chairlifts in various ways, at emergency modes of work.
Also on this special day, the Rector of the University Myroslav Koval showed the audience one more opening - a complex of laboratories of information systems and technologies in the field of digital security, which includes 5 new and modern laboratories that allow high-level training online and offline.
