The university received a SpaceX Starlink satellite communication terminal for use in the educational process

As part of the material and technical base development and close cooperation with the Department of Operational Communication and Electronic Communications of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the SpaceX Starlink v2 satellite communication system was obtained for use in the educational process. The Starlink complex provides access to the Internet anywhere via a network of low-orbit satellites.
The latest network equipment was given to the department of information technologies and electronic communication systems of the LSULS for the educational process of "Computer networks" and "Electronic communication systems" courses. The use of the SpaceX Starlink system will allow training students of "Computer Science" and "Cyber Security" specialities to deploy, configure and organize access to the global network in operational conditions, in particular, to organize the communication of SES units.
The use of advanced practices and technologies in the educational process of the Lviv State University of Life Safety is the priority value and vision of the educational institution.
