UNIVERSITY REPRESENTATIVE CARRY OUT WORKING VISIT TO THE MAIN SCHOOL OF FIRE SERVICE, WARSAW, IN THE FRAME OF ERASMUS + PROGRAM

The lecturer of the Department of Civil Defence and Computer Modelling of Ecogeophysical Processes of Lviv State University of Life Safety, Andrii Havrys, visit The Main School of Fire Service in the frame of ERASMUS + program.
During the visit were held lectures on the following topics: " The biggest natural emergency situations in Ukraine", " The biggest man-made emergency situations in Ukraine", "Ukraine Civil Protection. Chernobyl disaster". Classes were carried out in English language. Working meetings were held with the Institutional coordinator of ERASMUS + projects at the Main School of Fire Service, Warsaw, Marianna A. Ceglińska and Department coordinator of ERASMUS + projects Szymon Ptak. On these meetings discussed the prospects for further collaboration between Universities and plans to increase the number of academic mobility under ERASMUS + next year.
In addition, was held a working meeting with Dr. Wiktor Gawroński on the use of GIS technologies in fire-fighting departments of Poland, discussing the prospects for their implementation in Ukraine.
In free from teaching time, Andrii Havris got acquainted with the educational and scientific base,
fire and technical equipment of the Main School of Fire Service, Warsaw, Poland.
