University representatives completed another academic mobility program at the fire service university in Warsaw as part of the Erasmus+ program

A delegation from Lviv State University of Life Safety, including the head of the international cooperation department, Oleksandr Sviatkevych, the deputy head of the civil protection department, Andrii Havrys, Volodymyr-Petro Parkhomenko - Associate Professor of the Department of Fire Tactics and Emergency Rescue Operations, and Oleksandr Lyubovetskyi - Senior Lecturer of the Department of Civil Protection, took part in another academic mobility programme under the ERASMUS+ programme at the Fire University in Warsaw, Republic of Poland.
This event once again provided an opportunity to present the University’s areas of work and achievements in educational and scientific activities at an international level. In addition to the delegation from Ukraine, the event was attended by academic and teaching staff from the Warsaw Fire University, the Karshi State Technical University and the Pristina Academy of Public Safety.
As part of the exchange programme, university representatives shared their experience of working under martial law with participants from other countries, learned about the educational and material resources available, and took part in training sessions on extinguishing forest fires using aircraft, which were held at the training ground.
In addition, during the visit, bilateral meetings were held with representatives of the Warsaw Fire Service University, where further steps to continue and expand joint project activities were discussed.
