Vice-Rector Roman Ratushny took part in a consultative meeting in Warsaw
On August 25-26, 2021, the delegation of Lviv State University of Life Safety,(the first vice-rector of the University, colonel of civil defense service Roman Ratushnyi; university representatives: the deputy of fire tactics and rescue operation department, colonel of civil defense service, Vasyl LUSHCH; the head of international cooperation department, colonel of civil defense service Olexandr SVYATKEVYCH), paid a working visit to Warsaw (Republic of Poland), where they participated in a consultation meeting on the cooperation of the members of the EU-CHEM-REACT2 Project Consortium and discussed the main organizational and logistical issues in preparation for
conducting full-scale field exercise in Lviv region.
Also, the representatives of the Republic of Poland took part in the consultative meeting. LESNYAKEVYCH, Vice-President of the Main Council of the Voluntary Fire Brigade unions, chief specialist (ICCSS); General Richard DOMBROVA, Rector Commandant of the Main School of Fire Service in 2009-2016, member Main Council of the Union of Volunteer Fire Brigades.
Important issues were also raised during the Warsaw meeting of EU-CHEM-REACT2 Consortium, where Lviv
state University of Life Safety plays a leading role in development European cooperation with the use of national
opportunities in civil defense and searching additional finance for state engagement.
