The 14th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists, Cadets and Students "Problems and Prospects for the Development of the Safety System of Life" took place at Lviv State University of Life Safety

Young scientists from Ukraine and Poland, as well as representatives of more than 30 high school and research
institutions came to Lviv State University of Life Safety to discuss vital issues of life safety and determine the priority
directions of development this branch in the future.
During the plenary and sectional sessions, 90 students and cadets took part in the conference, another 140
young scientists joined the conference distantly. The participants of the conference discussed the urgent issues of fire
and technological safety, civil protection, occupational safety, organization of rescue and fire fighting, organizational and
legal, ecological, natural sciences, social, psychological and pedagogical aspects and humanitarian principles of life
safety, the use of information technology, as well as project management and programs in the field of life safety.
The conference participants mentioned that in recent years studies has been intensified in the branch of
creating new conceptual approaches to the development, research, testing and implementation of new extinguishing
substances, innovative projects regarding the prospects for the development of life safety security. Further international
connections in the field of life safety are being developed. Simultanuously, it should be noted that the situation regarding
the level of protection of objects and settlements has not been resolved and needs constant attention from all countries?
