The best students and cadets in the branch of life safety are chosen for the third time In the Lviv State University of Life Safety

On May 12, 111 students and cadets came to the University from more than 50 educational institutions of Ukraine to take part in the 2nd stage of the Ukrainian competition on the subject "Safety of Life". The event lasts for 4 days. For the third time the participants of the competition are hosted on the Department of Industrial Safety and Labor Protection of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Civil Protection of the Lviv State University of Life Safety.
Competition is held in two rounds. During the first one, the participant perform 70 test tasks, two sums and a logical crossword, in the second round they do practical tasks of providing medical assistance in order to demonstrate the level of their theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
The jury is headed by a doctor of the educational institute of ecological safety, doctor of technical sciences, professor of the National Aviation University Olexander Zaporozhets. Deputy jury are Head of the Department of Industrial Safety and Labor Protection of the Lviv State University of Life Safety, Ph.D., Associate Professor Olexander Mirus and Professor of the Department of Hygiene and Physiology of Human and Labor Safety, Ph.D. of Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture Oleh Tretyakov. Also in the jury there is a senior researcher of the Department of Modernization of Higher Education, associate professor of the Institute for the Modernization of the Content of Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Olena Dashkovska.
"All participants were divided into groups depending on the specifics of ZVO. The winners will be chosen in each of these groups. Creative thinking, inventive approaches and good results are expected from the competitors ", - said Olena Dashkovska.
The winners will be known on May 15 after the completion of the practical task and summing up, and the best will be marked with diplomas and valuable gifts from the sponsors of the competition.
