Opening of the first "Fire Module" in Ukraine: The Consul General of Poland opened fire training complex on the LSULS landfill

Today, in a solemn atmosphere, the rector of the Lviv state
University of Life Safety Myroslav Koval and Consul General of Poland in Ukraine Eliza Dzvonkevich at
the presence of numerous guests and partners made a new
turn to the practical part of the educational process by opening the fire and gas modules.
In recent years, Lviv State University of Life Safety together with the High School
of the State Fire Service in the city of Warsaw are implementing the project
“Regional Rescue Training Centers system support
training of DPOs and professional emergency services in Ukraine ", which
is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland
as part of the Polish Aid Program.

Serhii Babak, Chief of State Emergency Service of Ukraine
Yurii Kagitin, instructors and colleagues from Poland and
other guests.
The training complex is intended for practical training
gas fumes (lifeguards) to work in unsuitable for
breathing medium at fire exposure conditions, high temperature with
using different types of personal protective equipment (PPE), and
also working out tactical techniques of fire fighting.
Module equipment allows to practice psychological readiness in the extreme
situations. Modelling training situations are
as close as possible to the real working conditions of firefighters and
rescuers.
