WEB CONFERENCE LINKED IN NINE UNIVERSITIES

On the 20 of November the international web conference «New Trends in Linguistics, Literature, and Translation» took place. The event was organized by KODOLÁNYI JÁNOS UNIVERSITY (HUNGARY) and LVIV STATE UNIVERSITY OF LIFE SAFETY (Lviv, Ukraine). The moderators of the event were Viktória Albert, Ph.D., Kodolányi János University, Budapest, Hungary and Oksana Babelyuk – Dr.Sc., Prof. of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies, Lviv State University of Life Safety, Ukraine. The working language of the conference is English.
Among the co-organisers of the conference there were seven universities:

Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities, Poland
University of Córdoba, Spain
University of Tirana, Albania
Zaporizhzhya National University, Ukraine
Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, Ukraine
Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ukraine
All in all there were about 100 reports from different parts of the world. During the conference, all the participants presented their reports in four main topical sections: language, literature and culture in dialogue; specialized knowledge in translation; new tendencies in translation studies; literary discourse from a culture perspective. Due to modern technical devices, but mostly scholars’ motivation and a great desire to cooperate and to share their knowledge we are closer, making our intellectual space wider.
