Institute staff 


History of the Institute

        The Institute of psychology and social security was established under Order of SSES № 109 of 02.20.2014, by reallocating of present staff of Department of humanities, without increasing the staff number and within estimated budget and it is the youngest unit of Lviv State University. The Faculty itself was founded on 14th October 2012, to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the University, when the grand opening and blessing of all facilities department took place.



     Institute of psychology and social security operates within the structure of the University, as a research and training unit designed to develop different areas of humanities (in particular, psychology, history, philology, culture and pedagogy).
 



The main activity areas of the Institute are:

·                    training of professionals in the licensed areas and specialties of educational degrees: Bachelor, Specialist and Master in collaboration among the faculties of the University, obtaining of second higher education, retraining and advanced professional development of specialists SSES units of Ukraine;

·                    training of scientific and pedagogical staff of higher qualification and participation in their certification;

·                    scientific research and related works of innovation cycle "science-production";

·                    scientific and methodical, organizational and methodical, educational, cultural, educational, informational, publishing;

·                    participation in career guidance;

·                    participation in the international cooperation of the University.

The Institute numbers 50 employees of research and teaching staff, including 7 doctors and 19 candidates of science. The Institute includes 4 departments, two of which graduate students.


 


       Cadets and students of the Institute are actively involved in research work of the Institute and the University, conferences, scientific seminars and competitions, roundtables, Olympiads and other events.




         Cadets and students of the Institute visit art studios, historic sites, communicate with famous writers, artists, civil and academic leaders.




     Scientific and teaching staff, cadets and students of our institute are also participants and winners of various contests of amateur art.
