A cadet of Lviv State University of Life Safety became the world’s champion of kickboxing
Serhiy Shynkarchuk, a fifth-year student of Lviv State University of Life Safety, won the golden medal at the KickboxinWorld’s Cup in g from the version of WKF. Representatives of 20 world countries took part in the competitions which lasted from the 4th to the 9th of September in Lviv. The cadets of State Emergency Service of Ukraine competed in weight class under 75 kilos (chapter K-1). Serhiy Shynkarchuk held 4 battles and defeated a Polish sportsman in the first round by knockout.
“The victory was not easy as rivals were highly-qualified. So far, the World`s Cup is the top result for me. I will continue indulging in sport after a short break, nevertheless, in future there will be a lot of competitions.” –Serhiy Shynkarchuk told us.
