Lviv State University of Life Safety joined Magna Carta Universitatum

​This significant day in the history of Lviv State University of Life Safety took place on the 20th of September in Italy. Mykhailo Kozyar, rector of the above-mentioned university, signed Magna Charta Universіtatum in the oldest  educational institution in the world – University of Bologna. The aim of this document is to combine over 800 leading universities of the world, such as Cambridge and Oxford.
“Only those universities which are recognized educational, scholarly and cultural centers are granted the high honor of signing the Charta. This document defines the fundamental principles used by the universities for securing development of education, innovative movement and establishing close ties”, - commented Mykhailo Kozyar, rector of Lviv State University of Life Safety SES(State Emergency Service) Ukraine, when signing the Charta.
Magna Charta was established by the European Association of Universities, it is based on the fundamental principles and values of the university and human being. In 1998 this paper was signed by rectors of the best 388 universities in the world.
Let us remind you that today Lviv State University of Life Safety is fully integrated into the international security-providing mechanisms. Recognition of the university at the national level as the best one in terms of international cooperation in education and science served as an additional confirmation of this.
